Dr. Susan Taylor, founder of SOCS, hosted an engaging Networking and Educational Symposium on September 28, 2023, at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. The event brought together a diverse audience of medical students, dermatology residents, academicians, and practitioners. Dr. Taylor's warm welcome and insightful presentation on SOCS set the stage for discussions on dermatological advancements and the importance of continuous learning in the field.
Highlighting the evening was Dr. Camile Z. Charles, Professor and author, who discussed her book, "Young, Gifted, and Diverse: Origins of the New Black Elite." The event concluded with vibrant networking, fostering connections among dermatology professionals and leaving attendees inspired by the wealth of knowledge shared. We extend our appreciation to Dr. Susan Taylor for her leadership, as well as to all participants and the Perelman Center for hosting this successful event.
Special mention to Pfizer for sponsoring the event.
