SOCS proudly participated in the 2025 Society for Investigative Dermatology (SID) Annual Meeting held in San Diego, California from May 7-10, 2025. With nearly 1,600 attendees from across the globe, this four-day event provided a vibrant platform for scientific exchange, professional networking, and the advancement of dermatologic research.
SOCS Project Manager Ridhima Shaw staffed a booth at the conference, where she engaged with a diverse group of research professionals and prospective members. She shared, "It was a pleasure connecting with familiar faces and it was energizing to meet new individuals who expressed enthusiasm about joining our growing global community."
Our booth served as more than just an informational hub—it became a space for thoughtful conversations around health equity, mentorship, and the future of dermatologic innovation. Whether attendees were learning about our research initiatives, asking questions about membership, or exploring opportunities to get involved, the energy was palpable and the interest was strong.
A highlight of the event was the evening reception, where SOCS members and new connections came together in a relaxed setting to celebrate, network, and share ideas. It was a wonderful reminder of the power of community and the shared commitment to improving dermatologic care for all skin types.
