Dr. Michelle Oboite received her medical degree (MD) from Duke University School of Medicine. She completed her pre-residency fellowship in dermatology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, her dermatology residency at Medstar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University Hospital, and her post-residency fellowship in pediatric dermatology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She is dual board-certified in adult and pediatric dermatology, and her clinical interests are scalp and hair disorders with a special focus on scarring alopecia in both children and adults. She sees pediatric hair loss patients as the Director of the Complex Pediatric Hair Loss clinic and Pediatric Multidisciplinary Alopecia program at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She also sees adult hair loss patients as a member of the Hair and Scalp specialist group in the Penn Medicine Department of Dermatology.
