Dr. Klint Peebles is a board-certified dermatologist with Kaiser Permanente, Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group in Washington, DC and suburban Maryland. Dr. Peebles primarily focuses on complex medical dermatology as well as anogenital dermatology and HPV with extensive clinical, leadership, and research expertise in gender and sexual diverse health and gender-affirming dermatology. Dr. Peebles is past chair of the American Academy of Dermatology Expert Resource Group on LGBTQ/SGM Health, a member of the governing council of the AMA LGBTQ+ Section, and member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health.
Dr. Peebles is extensively published in major medical journals, serves on several editorial boards (including the JAAD and also serves as co-chair of the journal’s DEI work group), and lectures nationally and internationally on topics of healthcare and dermatology, gender and sexual diversity, and broader issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion. With an advocacy-focused career, Dr. Peebles is President-Elect of the Medical Society of the District of Columbia, also serving on the society’s Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Chair of the Advocacy committee and Federal Policy task force. Klint is also chair of the AAD Access to Dermatologic Care Committee and basic dermatology curriculum work group, member of the AAD Council on Government Affairs and Health Policy, and is Chair of the Dermatology Section Council of the American Medical Association.
