MEMBERS & PROFESSIONALS

Janiene Luke, MD is a Clinical Professor and serves as Residency Program Director at the Loma Linda University Department of Dermatology in California. She completed her residency in dermatology at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital in New York City, where she also obtained extensive training in Skin of Color.  

Dr. Luke specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology with expertise in pigmentary and hair/scalp disorders. She is the Director of the Cosmetic and Laser Center at LLU and created the Resident Cosmetic Clinic, a curriculum designed to give residents specialized training in performing cosmetic procedures. She lectures locally and nationally and has a special interest in resident education and mentorship. 

Dr. Luke is active in numerous national societies such as AAD, SOCS, NMA, WDS and APD.  She serves as the Vice Chair of the ACGME Dermatology Review Committee and Secretary-Treasurer of NMA. In addition, she is Co-Chair of the Scientific Meetings Committee and member of the Board of Directors for the Skin of Color Society. Dr. Luke’s passion for educating patients as well as the public have resulted in numerous contributions to various media outlets. In her spare time, Dr. Luke enjoys singing, traveling and cooking.
