Dr. Courtney M. Johnson is a board-certified dermatologist and NIH-funded physician-scientist whose research focuses on the tumor microenvironment in cutaneous lymphomas. She is a Principal Investigator at Johns Hopkins University, leading a translational research program that integrates single-cell RNA sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, and computational biology to uncover how cancer-associated fibroblasts drive immune evasion and disease progression. Dr. Johnson has received multiple career development awards from the NIH, the Dermatology Foundation, and the Skin of Color Society, and her work aims to translate laboratory discoveries into personalized therapies for patients with skin cancers. She is also a dedicated clinician, educator, and mentor, with a commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in dermatology and biomedical research.
