Susan C. Taylor, MD, FAAD is the Sandra J. Lazarus Professor of Dermatology, and Vice Chair for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for the Department of Dermatology, Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Professional Staff Member and Attending Physician, Pennsylvania Hospital. Dr. Taylor is board-certified in Dermatology (1989), and Internal Medicine (1986). After completing medical school at Harvard Medical School, she went on to her complete her residency at Pennsylvania Hospital. Dr. Taylor also completed her Fellowship program at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. She founded the Skin of Color Society in 2004 and served as the organization’s first president. She also served as the founding director of the Skin of Color Center, St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center from 1998-2009.
